ILLESHEIM, Germany - Soldiers, civilians and retirees were joined by local members of the American Legion posts (Ansbach and Illesheim) to pay tribute to fallen service members at a wreath laying during a Memorial Day ceremony at Storck Barracks Memorial Park May 24, 2018. In attendance were Army Garrison Ansbach Command Sgt. Major Philson Tavernier, American Legion Post 1982 commander Susan Houston, as well as representatives from local Army rotational units stationed in Illesheim, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Calvary Division and the 678th Air Defense Battalion. Guest speaker was Capt.
