081215-N-1713L-036 NORFOLK (Dec. 15, 2008) The littoral combat ship USS Freedom (LCS 1) maneuvers into its berth after arriving at Naval Station Norfolk. Freedom arrived in Norfolk after a month-long underway through the Great Lakes, Eastern Canada and the Northeast coast of the United States.
