Mixed. All colors. 25 cts. each; $ per doz.; $ per 100. BOUGAINVILLEA Crimson Lake. Introduced through the Bureau of Plant Industry of the Department of Agriculture. It originally having been received from the Department of Science and Agriculture, Georgetown, De- merara, British Guiana, without specific or varietal name, simply being labelled "Crimson Bougainvillea," someone for identifica- tion called it "Crimson Lake "which name is at least descriptive ofits rich beautiful coloring. The flowers are like all other Bougainvilleas, oerhaps a trifle larger, but in coloring none compare with it in richness and brilliancy. On first opening a brilliant crimson-lake, retaining this color for three or four weeks, after which they gradually pass to a crimson-carmine. In semi-tropical climates, such as Southern California and Florida, the Bougainvilleas make gorgeous
