The stamp was used during the siege of Leiden, 1574. A gold ring is attached to the top of the token to which the token can be worn. On the obverse of the medal is a standing lion, centered to the left on a ground with a lance with a freedom hat in the claws, between the year 1574. Above the lion, protruding in the rim, is a crown. The circular HAEC LIBERTATIS ERGO runs around this
