Rillaton Barrow, Bodmin Moor, England, UK, looking SE to the masts on Caradon Hill & the lowland fields beyond. A stone chamber (cist) on the E side of the round mound contained an extended skeleton with a rich collection of Bronze Age grave goods including the famous Rillaton ribbed gold cup placed inside an earthenware pot. Pieces of ivory or bone, glass beads & a long bronze dagger were also found when the cist was discovered in 1837. Slabs of granite lie scattered around.
