He was appointed roentgenolo-gist to Sydney Hospital in 1900, and at thetime of his death he was consultant to thishospital and also director of departments ofRoentgenology at the Royal Prince Alfredand Royal Alexandra Hospital for Childrenin Sydney. He was made an Honorary Mem-ber of the American Roentgen Ray So-ciety in 1916 and was President of the Sec-tion of Roentgenology at the AustralasianMedical Congress in 1913. He was visitingEngland in August, 1914, and volunteeringimmediately left London on August i6thwith the Australian Voluntary Hospital forFrance. Later he was transferred to No. 3A. G.
