A line traced through points thus obtained,Ha L° N2 Ja, will be the miter cut for the side curb to fit over theridge of the roof at the required angle. Allow laps on one sidefrom Ha to Ja. 208 Home Instruction for Sheet Metal Workers To obtain the true section of the ridge bar, take the dis-tance from 6 to 7 or the width of the rahbet in section A andplace it, from 6 to 7, measuring from the miter line Ba Ea, anddraw a line from 7a to 8, corresponding to the line from 7 to 8in section A. Take a tracing of Ba, 6, 7a, 8, 10 and place it, asshown, by similar numbers in X. Reverse it by similar numbersin Y, and add the condensation gutters Fa Fa. Then X Y showsthe true section of the ridge bar which will pass above the gutterline 10 in section A. For the pattern for the riclgvi bar X Y, take the girth of X Yand place it on any line O Pa, shown by similar numbers, throughwhich draw lines at right angles to O Pa, and draw the lineO
