Unique pictures on a Russian military intelligence flight over the UK, under the Open Skies Treaty. April 1999, aboard an Antonov 30B aircraft. Russian crew, one UK journalist allowed aboard. Took off from RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. Four hours in the air. The Russians flew over, photographed and mapped military, intel and civil sites across England, from USAF and RAF bases in East Anglia, the GCHQ intel gathering HQ in Cheltenham, power stations, transport hubs, naval bases at Portland and Portsmouth.
