Sow early in spring (four tofive pounds per acre in drills) on very rich ground; cultivateoften and thin the plants to sixteen inches apart. Cut theleaves and tender shoots just as the plant is coming into flowerand dry quickly in the shade. The plants wiS survive the win-ter and may be divided.
