A large room of smaller exhibits is on display at the Museo Nazionale del Bargello (Bargello National Museum) one of the oldest public buildings in Florence dating from 1255. It is on Palazzo del Bargello in Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy. During the 18th century, the museum served as the city’s prison. In 1865, it transformed into a National museum. It has the largest Italian collection of 14–17th century Gothic and Renaissance sculptures.
