The wide end with a frieze, surmounted by the portrayal of a dragon slayer. In the middle section a crowned coat of arms flanked by griffins, three fleur-de-lys, topped by trophy bundles. On the opposite side three portraits of French rulers. The narrow end depicting beasts wrestling and fighting with each other in the style of Michael Maucher.
