Protesters vandalise a Starbucks store inside a mall during the demonstration. Starbucks has been consistently targeted by pro-democracy protesters due to it's affiliation as a "blue ribbon" of protesters gathered in support of the pro-democracy movement on Christmas Eve. Clashes between protesters soon broke out as police fired tear gas and other projectiles. Protesters also hurled various objects at the police.
