A vision of abstract beauty in nature - sun, reflection and reeds on the Thames, just by Radley College, Boathouse. Not a straightforward image to capture - cloud cover kills it, whilst clear skies lead to images dominated by the sun. You need a semi-obscured sun, with some thing like thin cloud or alto cumulus to make it work - like here. But then I got adventurous and turned it into something more colourful and abstract, using a combination of Photoshop techniques including image folding, rotation, multi-layer blending, transformations and gradient mapping.
