Israeli soldiers aim their M-16s directly at a reporter at the Israeli military checkpoint- Qalandia- at the entrance of the Palestinian city of Ramallah. On Friday, Hamas called for a “Day of Rage” in the West Bank as a response to the Israeli government’s decision to demolish the family homes of both Palestinian men that perpetuated the attack on the synagogue, as well the government’s refusal to hand over the bodies of Hassan Muhammad Abu Jamal and Udayy Abed Abu Jama. Dozens of injuries were reported in clashes across the Palestinian territories. Israeli forces who were at Qalandia checkpoint- the Israeli military checkpoint, at the entrance of the Palestinian city of Ramallah, used volleys of tear gas and live ammunition rounds at Palestinian youth who protested. Following a violent week in Jerusalem after the two Palestinian men attacked a synagogue in Western Jerusalem, in Har Nof, killing 4 Rabbis and one Israeli police officer, Jerusalem itself remained calm, though there were reports of anti-Palestinian attacks across Jerusalem, as well as another Israeli settler who hit-and-ran into a Palestinian woman from Shofat refugee camp in Eastern Jerusalem.
