Good prizes are offered for roses, car- nations, chrysanthemums, violets and other flowers; also for groups and table decorations. The Cooperative Flower Market has charge of the floral section, the committee being W. H. Elliott, president; John McFarland, Donald Car- michael, J. W. Simpson, Thomas Capers, Charles Leach, Eobert Montgomery, L. E. Small, John Barr and Norris F. Comley. A. G. Pembroke, one of the most pop- ular salesmen at the Flower Exchange, is back from his pleasure and business trip to New York. He rather fooled his market associates by getting mar- ried while away. The young lady was Miss Lena Bunce, of Berkshire, Eng- land, who arrived in New York October 7, after a stormy voyage on the S. S. New York.
