A Royal Thai Marine takes his first ship-to-shore helicopter ride as he and members of his battalion join US Marines for a helicopter raid on Ko Samea San Island, Thailand. In addition to performing combined raids with members of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit while in the area for Exercise Cobra Gold '98, Royal Thai Marines spent four days living with US Marines aboard USS BELLEAU WOOD (LHA 3).
