This shrew is a small mammal that is commonly found in woodlands, grasslands and hedgelands of Britain, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. Although the external appearances of shrews are similar to mice, they are not rodents but members of the family Soricidae. Magnification: x5 when printed 10 centimetres wide.
