Pylons and passing balloon on Kennington Meadows. I have always been fascinated by our UK pylons - what in much of the world would be called transmission towers. Marching across the landscape, they have such strong and striking visual impact. This is on Kennington Meadows, between Oxford and Abingdon., And a hot air balloon drifts majestically past in early morning thermals
