One of them was ^liss ^IcKee, and atthe close of the war, she was decorated by thePrince of Wales with the British Royal Red Cross. During Aliss McKees stay on the WesternFront, the sleeping quarters of the unit withwhich she was connected, were blowTi up byGerman air saiders, but she fortunately escapedinjury on account of being on duty at the timeof the raid.
