He introduced the “Stop the Bleed” course, which teaches how to handle trauma emergencies. He went out of his way to teach the course to all security staff who are assigned to the gate, as well as staff assigned to NMCP’s branch health clinics and TRICARE Prime Clinics. Never satisfied with the status quo, he also created a schedule to enhance training opportunities for “Code Blue” drills and additional detailed hands-on training for 20 students in the Simulation Center.
