UK Egyptians in london commemorated the third anniversary of the uprising in Egypt with a protest march by British Egyptians For Democracy who are angry that the fledgling Morsi regime was overthrown by the military. The group numbering well over a thousand marched to the Egyptian embassy in Mayfair. A counter-protesting group much less in number was present at the embassy, but a strong police presence kept the two groups apart and there was no trouble.
