Aisha al-Rabi was riding a car with her husband near the Za'tara military checkpoint south of Nablus the previous night, when a group of Israeli settlers came onto the road and began throwing rocks at their vehicle. Aisha was hit in the head causing her a severe head injury and resulting in her death, while her husband was injured. Armed Israeli settlers' attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank are recurrent, with the number of attacks drastically increasing this week since two Israeli settlers were killed by a Palestinian on the south of Nablus five days earlier
