Figurehead of Victory USS Massachusetts
This figurehead adorned the battleship USS Massachusetts and represented victory (word engraved on the sword blade). It dates, as well as the image itself, to 1898 and the Spanish American War (the struggle between the and Cuban revolutionaries agaist Spain with the goal of free Cuba from Spanish control).
