The Sweet or Sugar Varieties, being li- able to rot in cold or wet ground, should not be planted before May or until STOund has become warm; for succes- sion continue planting every two weeks until the middle of July in rich, well-manured ground, in hills 3 feet apart each way, covering about % inch and thin out to 3 plants to a hill. The extra early varieties can be planted 18 ins. in a row and 2% feet between rows. Extra Ea rly Varieties 564. Bolgiano's Extra Early Ideal Sweet Corn. We have never put out any corn that has given more satisfaction to the market gar- dener than the "Ideal"; it meets his every demand. Extra early, large ears, 8 to 10 inches long; has a mild, sweet flavor; very tender; vigorous grower, producing a wonderful crop of corn for the early market. Can be planted as early as the Extra Early Adams. Thousands of t r u c k e r s and market gardeners are using the "Ideal" for early planting.
