Bacterial blight v/as reported as occurring in Uobraska, Idaho, and Washington, but did practically no damage. It is interesting to note that in Nebraska it was only observed in irrigated' regions. This necessarily holds for Washington and Idaho also, therefore, it would be of interest to learn whether this disease is confined chiefly to irrigated sections. Records for the last four years indicate that this is true.
