Those represented in-chide six Americans from the east, duMond, Reid, Simmons, Dodge, Hassam andBancroft, one Englishman, Frank Brang-wyn, and our own Arthur !•. Mathews ofSan Francisco. Their work is all In har-mony witli the general color scheme de-signed by and carried out under the per-simal direction of Mr. . The central panelof this canvas shows a giant figure oflabor sundering the last barriers of eachbetween the oceans and joining the watersof the Pacific and Atlantic.
