Soldiers from the 2nd Engineer Battalion re-enact the Burning of the Flag at the Battle of Kunu-Ri during the Korean War at Kuwait Naval Base, Nov. 28, 2016. The battalion burns its unit colors each year to remember the battle. On Nov. 30, 1950, the battalion commander ordered the unit flag burned to prevent it from becoming an enemy trophy when the Chinese army overran their position.
