Sydney’s finest will shine a light on Aussie kids who deserve a fair go at the ninth annual Variety of Chefs Gala Dinner on Saturday 27 May 2017 at The Star. The black-tie evening brings together some of Sydney’s best food by award winning chefs, exceptional wines and Oz rock icon, James Reyne in an extravaganza to raise funds for Variety – the Children’s Charity. Each chef will prepare a decadent feast to tantalise guests’ taste buds and each course will be expertly paired with premium wines from Calabria Family wines and cocktails by Imperial Collection vodka. Celebrity guests include Tim Ross (MC), Natalie Gruzlewski (MC), James Reyne, Tom Burgess, Tahlia Giumelli, Johnny Ruffo, Tahnee Sims, Lyn McGranger, Ada Nicodemou and Justin Melvey. Funds raised at the Variety of Chefs Gala Dinner will fund Variety's Vision for Life technology in Newborn and Paediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS) Ambulances. In-Ambulance Vision for Life paramedics to consult with specialists from NETS via visual conference call to provide life-saving first-response treatment. No matter where they live, every child deserves the best medical care and this on-the-road specialist consultation saves children’s lives.
