An Italian Late Gothic sword, circa 1500. Straight single-edged blade with a double-edged point and shallow double fullers on both sides. A mark is stamped into one side of the forte. S-shaped curved, grooved quillons with quatrefoil finials. Leather-covered ridged grip. Iron pommel cap with a sheet copper underlay and a corded central rib.
