One of the five temporary urban art projects entitled Snow Cone designed to utilize lifeguard towers as warming stations.
One of five winning designs chosen during a 2015 international art competition to create temporary winter warming stations around the lifeguard towers on the normally inhospitable and frigid Kew Beach. This geodesic structure entitled Snow Cone was inspired by the shape of a pineapple and built by architectural students from Toronto's Ryerson University.
