Again, the introduction of mystic theology-, combinedwith some of the esoteric teachings of the Rosicruciancultus and a closer form of organization with stricterdiscipline, added to the strength of the new communityby attracting a number of kindred spirits who had beenimbued with such speculations in the Fatherland. Among the new arrivals about this time may be men-tioned the Thoma family, from Viedendorf, in the Cantonof Basel, province of Wallenberg, Switzerland.
