This magnificent Spider Lily produces immense umbels of often as many as twenty-five flowers, and nearly always two or more flower scapes at the same time. The flowers are airy and fragile appearing, and deliciously scented. The florets are disposed in rays, and resemble an immense spidrr, hence its name. In the center of each flower is a beautiful crown or saucer, resembling tissue paper. The cut conveys a good idea of the great beauty of both the plant and its flowers.
