IRIS PSEUDO ACORUS A grand addition to the list of hardy plants. Its attractive green and white variegated foliage is alone enough to place it in the first rank of hardy orna- mental plants; but in addition to this its flowers are magnificent in size and color. Bright yellow, slightly veined brown. This, like all other Iris, delights in a moist situation, but by watering freely, will thrive in any soil. 15c, 2 for 25c. IRIS KAEMPFERII— Japan Iris. Finest of all the Iris family. The flowers are of immense size, from 6 to 8 inches in diameter, and of the most beautiful and delicate shades. They are perfectly hardy, and flower in during June and July. A well-established plant gives a dozen or more flower stalks 2 to 3 feet high, each stalk producing 2 to 4 enormous blooms. The Iris thrives best if planted in a moist soil; if this cannot be had, should be plentifully supplied with water while growing and flowering. All the varieties offered are double flowered. To avoid mistakes order by numbers. (1) Oyodo. Bright violet purple. (2) Kaknjakuro. Large flat flower, light lavender purple. (3) Hana-Nishihi. White, very heavily marked crim- son maroon. (4) Kyodaisan. Large light blue, lightly veined purple. (5) Kumo-Obi. Marbled purple over white, center white with band of yellow. (6) Koyonotki. Carmine crimson, splashed white. (7) Kosui-No-lro. Violet veined white, star-shaped yellow
