Sometimes it is on the old road, tothe grand sea views and to the merry welcome ofhome. Sometimes a detour, near Strawberry Hill,determines the last step homeward shall be overPhillips Avenue, with the unequalled ooean viewon one side, and the varied beauty of oaks andpines, climbing brambles, pasture-lilies, and wildroses on the other.
