Crew Members of Coast Guard Cutter BIBB Get Awards for Bermuda Sky Queen Rescue. Ralph J. Koller, Boatswain's Mate, first class, of Fairhope, Ala., is awarded the Treasury Department Gold Life Saving Medal by Secretary of the Treasury John W. Snyder, for his part of the rescue of the passengers and crew of the American flying boat Bermuda Sky Queen. The award was made in Washington, , November 12. Keller was one of sixteen officers and men in the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter BIBB awarded medals or decorations.
