Villa 'Ter Meer', involved in 1903 by the French sisters canoniesses of Saint Augustine of Our Lady as boarding school and secondary girls' school where the official language was French. In 1910, the Education Institute ('Frans Pensionaat') was further expanded by architect J. van Groenendael from Amsterdam, again enlarged with a wing in 1926. In 1968 the girls' school (MMS) was converted into the HAVO 'Notre Dame des Anges', in 1971 the last sisters left for Vught and the complex got various other destinations
