I have two greenhouses 125 feet in length and the boiler pit of the heating system is located between the two houses. The flow pipe, after leaving the boiler, rises to a height of ten feet and then divides and runs into the two houses, the two branches being each ten feet in length. The flow pipe is covered with twelve thicknesses of paper and then wrapped with canvas. I am of the opinion, however, that a great deal of heat could be saved by putting this pipe underground .nnd permitting it to rise to the required height after it has en- tered the greenhouses.
