GUIUAN, Eastern Samar Province, Republic of the Philippines (Nov. 17, 2013) Sailors assigned to the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73), Marines assigned to the 3 Marine Expeditionary Brigade (3 MEB), and Philippine civilians unload relief supplies in support of Operation Damayan. The George Washington Strike Group supports the 3 MEB to assist the Philippine government in response to the aftermath of Super Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda in the Republic of the Philippines.
