Aleppo, Syria. 08 February 2023. Search and rescue operations continue amid the vast destruction in the northwest Syrian town of Jenderis, following two deadly earthquakes on Monday. According to official figures the death toll in Syria has so far reached 2,470 people. The damaged roads, the continuous aftershocks, the freezing temperatures, the limited resources, and the divided control have hampered the response to the humanitarian crisis provoked by the earthquakes in war-torn northwest Syria
