Two Carthusian monks of the 19 who make up the "religious community" of "St Hughs Charterhouse" monastery Cowfold Sussex. "It was originally built for 250 monks and now novices and abbot alike ride bicycles round the cloisters from their cells to prayer and work. The monastery is so vast the bikes are the most practical way for the brothers to get around it."
