The village of Adlestrop, which was the inspiration for the poem 'Adlestrop' by Dymock poet, Edward Thomas, after the train he was travelling on, was delayed in the village, showing the parish church with Emma-Louise Phillips and cat, old station sign, now in a bus shelter, the village shop, the former railway station in ols pictures and the present-day location.
