The only regret coming from tlie prepara- tions, and it is shared by management and exhibitors alike, is that this is to be the last show of any kind to be held in the Grand Central Palace, as the building thereafter is to be given over entirely to commercial purposes. The mnuv advantages presented in the use of tiiis building have contributed not a little to the success of the entire series of flower shows held under its roof, and the committee aims to make the forth- coming show one such as will be remem- bered as the best of all. The matter of suitable quarters for subsequent shows is already a subject of grave con- cern for all interested in the progress of floriculture in America. If a little additional support by gro\y- ers, both commercial and private, is forthcoming, it is believed that the idea of the biggest show ever will be the result. Developments of the last week indicate that the support asked vnW materialize. Some exhibits quite un- usual in character, yet commercially pointing the way to welcome innova- w€ri Members of the F.
