Mr. Jennings was a cadet engineer withthe United Gas Improvement Co., Philadel-phia, 1899-1901, first in the Jersey Cityplant; next in charge of the Bayonne worksof the Hudson County Gas Co., and of thedistribution work of the company, duringwhich time several miles of 16 24 mains were laid; in charge of theConsumers works of the Hudson CountyGas Co., and of experimental work, improve-ments, etc. Owing to ill health he resignedhis position with the gas company in the fallof 1901, and formed a partnership with A. under the name of Jennings & Banks,and went to Mexico, where he represented The Locomobile Company of America,with offices in Monterey. He is now alsoengaged in general engineering and miningin Mexico. He read a paper at the annual meetingof the superintendents of the United Gas. R. P.
