Brick pavement filled with Barretts Paving Pitch. A Brick Pavement that is Quieter THE noisiness of brick pavement is tomany property owners a great objec-tion. This objection, however, isbased primarily upon pavements the jointsof which are filled with cement rather thanwith Paving Pitch. The use of Paving Pitch for the jointslargely overcomes this objection of noisi-ness. Pitch is a non-conductor of sound. Thepitch filled pavement does not echo andring the way a cement filled pavementdoes, as the sound of the blow of a horseshoof will not pass from brick to brickwhen every brick is surrounded withplastic, elastic Paving Pitch.
