Arroic-Heads.—Weapons of this class are lessabundant than the spear-heads. They are found through-out the AVest, especially in the valleys where the moundsoccur, and are met with in the mounds possess a great diversity of form, and any attemptto classify them is useless, for whatever series of charac- WORKS OF ART. 63 teristics may be adopted there will be presented somany exceptions as to make void the rule.
