Diabetes virtual reality demonstration. Delegates using virtual reality equipment at a conference on diabetes. Equipment like this is used to simulate medical conditions and train healthcare professionals. This simulation is called Diabetes Voyager, and takes the participant on a voyage through the body of a patient with diabetes. Produced by the companies emotive and Novo Nordisk, the system combined the Oculus Rift 360-degree headset and the Xbox Kinect.
