Cornelis de Witt's Hammock, anonymous, c. 1650 - c. 1667 Hamming of Macremé work. Dessin of two alternating block motifs, interrupted in three places by a horizontal strip with golf motifs (at the ends and in the middle, resp. 11 and 17 cm wide). The edge on the sides diagonally knotted with hanging fraying (approx. 30 - 35 cm). The hammock runs lengthwise in eight flooded loops. South America (Possible) cotton (textile) Raid on the Medway
