An Achaemenid omphalos bowl, Old Persian, 5th century Thin sheet bronze hammered from the backside to the frontside, in the centre omphalos, surrounded by three strong bulls in fine, detailed drawing, continuous decorative bands with waves and dots, slightly flaring rim. Height cm, 22 cm in diameter. Outstandingly restored (more than 50 %), clearly distinguishable on the backside. Small hole, green-brown patina.
