Paul Gerhardt Protestant church. Original Art Nouveau building by architect Richard Schultze Hauptstrasse 47 in Berlin-Schöneberg . The church was destroyed during the war and rebuilt between 1958 -1962 based on designs by Hermann Fehling , Daniel Gogel and Peter Pfankuch as a reconstruction of the church. It has been a listed building since 1995. The original church was designed by the architect Richard Schultze was nicknamed ‘The thermos flask because of its round tower and the sculptural work was carried out by the artist Robert Schirmer from Berlin.
