St Magnus the Martyr church in the City of London, by Chrisopher Wren. The nave


St Magnus the Martyr, London. Tower and steeple. One of the City churches rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London 1666. Completed 1706. The interior has aisles on the north and south, divided from the nave by tall fluted Ionic columns on high hexagonal plinths. The barrel-vaulted ceiling is lit by oval clerestory windows.
